Motivation
Fascinated by the interaction between people and their information needs, I try to approach projects in a 'holistic' human way, focusing on goals and the question behind the question.

Approach
By finding out what drives (and often blocks) team members and by meeting their needs, I try to get teams motivated and even 'buzzy'. When I have subsequently re-checked the client and stakeholders for their goals and requirements, the route to success can be determined and even the largest problem can be divided into easily solvable sub-problems. I am convinced of the power and simplicity of the SCRUM methodology and have used it successfully many times.

Private life
I like to spend my free time with my three children Olivier, Anne-Mei and Guus. In addition, I play the violin in various classical orchestras and ensembles and I occasionally have a 'gig' with my band 'Op Smaak'. I enjoy running and racing bikes with friends.
